George Family Farm
Our Story
Philip George grew up in India and immigrated to the United States in the 70’s to pursue the “American Dream.” He initially lived in New York, but immediately moved his entire family to the Sunshine State after a visit with friends in Florida. The warm, tropical landscape was reminiscent of his home state of Kerala, India. Florida provided Philip with the opportunity to pursue both his passion for medicine and his passion for gardening.
Our Vision
The green mango farm
This 10-acre mango grove has been in the George family for over 20 years and its rows of matured mango trees have supplied our family with a quiet sanctuary away from the fast-paced life of Miami.
We’ve enjoyed the delicious fruit each season, making spicy Indian mango pickle with the green mangoes and biting into juicy, tree-ripened, mangoes during the hot summer months of Miami.
